Spread the billing word!

I was out having dinner last night and was speaking to people that were waiting to be seated at their tables. I was asked what I did for a living.....naturally, I was passionate and excited to explain my function in the healthcare realm. As I was explaining this, a woman asked me about when she gets her bills from her doctor. I gave my professional opinion but it really hit me, most people do not know their healthcare benefits and what their "EOB's" really mean.

Having someone that is a physician liaison who can also explain these terms and outcomes to patients is so beneficial to the physician and their practice! Explaining simple terminology to patients builds trust in that physician and that can go a long way!
